[Terminator2 animated]

honest review

I hold T2 dear to my hear being it's one of the greatest story driven action films so here is my no bs review.

ART...liked the style. design was almost spot on. But i didnt the almost raced appearance of some of the scenes.

animation...i liked some of it but the reuse of multiple frame by frams ruined it. the last part where she has skin magicallyy again to reload the grendade launcher(kinda took the easy way out). I think the whole project should be redone adding some more frame by frame to pull it off. The static image of the minigun falling, no recoil or smoke trail when the lancher was fired. Even a quick few frames off the cops actually moving guns into firing position. Oh and the same scene used over and over for the damage taking down the hallway. ad some new scenes with some movement of the Terminator getting hit from the bullet. I think yu might have been going for almost a moving comic book feel. But it just looks like shortcuts to me.

Overall like that your a fan of the movie and some parts like the opening were done very well. Just like to see you move out of comfort with the frame by frame. Hope this helps.

Yup, pretty good review actually. Several people have mentioned the same thing about the guns so I'll defiantly make those changed for my next animation. I wouldnt mind branching out more like you said actually.

i mean its a funny song but...

This does not belong among the ranks of little foot and adam phillips work. Infact i really only think the only thing good about this toon is the song. ITS A GREAT SONG, but the animation is poor at best, infact if u look 90% of it is tweening or just showing pics over and over that where traced from photo's. I could do this toon 900 times better I mean use soem fbf for crying out loud. IM SORRY I LIKE IT IT JUST SHOULDNT EVEN BE CLOSE TO NUMBER 1!!!!

I hate to say it but a year and 1/2 of you're life has just been waisted doing someone else's cartoon. I mean come on buddy there is nothing differnt from this and DBZ. Except for the fact that u used sonic looking toons. Im sorry man keep trying but your animation from another perspective as you like to say has been done for over 20 years now.

I believe that you are entitled to your opinion, however, in my defence I'd like to point out I believe your statement that this is no different from DBZ is false. I tried to get more action and less "talk in the middle of battle for 3 episodes", which I think was achieved. Now, I'm not saying I didn't take inspiration from DBZ and Sonic, but that's as far as that goes. It was only inspired by, not copied.

ok you put all this effort in making a flash with great sound, voice acting, backgrounds, etc... and u waist it with stick figures? WHY! I mean it's you're animation screw it up anyway you want but this is so close to being worth while. stick figures.....such a shame.

I dont get it

I have only been a member of newgruonds for a short time but I have been a faithful watcher of all flash submissions for atleast 4 years. I have never got the point of the clock crew at all. I dont see much talent in these submissions. I mean as far as art work you can really only crit the backgrounds because anyone can use the circle tool. As far as animation It's rather boring, tween move up and down left to right. I know clock crew is a tradition here at newgrounds but I just have to say something. I do like the fact that this animation expresses the fact that all thse pointless clock crew animations (if you can call them that) are out of line. I am not trying to be mean or hurtful just am I the only one who doesnt get the point or find entertainment from these?

If any clock crew could show me the errors of my ways they are more than welcome to.

Well the drawing are nothing new jokes where poorly executed and well went reall slow and broing plus its ok I know you hate your father.

Well the grammar's bad, the spelling's poor, and it's ok, I know you just don't get it.

But seriously, the art is relatively simple for many reasons, not the last of which being that that's my current style. The timing was what I felt it should be. I don't feel the need to have erratic movies that give people seizures. The jokes are as the jokes are... If you want them spelled out for you in big shiny letters, look somewhere else.

I liked it not loved it

It was ok to start out but it went nowhere. And it wasnt reall so much an animation it was one picture then another but i sorta liked it. Work on composition.

wasnt supposed to go anywhere...It wasnt supposed to be a fluid animation. Theres no way I could confuse fluid movements with pictures. I'm not that stupid. That was the style I was going for.

Need to work on some things

General idea not bad, but its soemthing veeryone has seen before. As far as the animation the movements where very un-natural watch some kung fu movies or something get an Gi joe and move him the poses dont just draw things the way u think they should look if you want them to loook right.
